The next Great North Run is on Sunday 11 September 2022 and will take place back on the original route around Newcastle, finishing in South Shields. With 57,000 determined and dedicated runners the Great North Run is the World’s biggest and best half marathon – famous for its warm North East welcome and unbeatable atmosphere. This event is highly popular and is a key date in the running calendar. So whether you are a regular runner or looking for a first time challenge this event is not to be missed.
