As we come to the end of CMV Awareness Month, we’re inviting our amazing community to come together for our first ever online information session. Join us as we share how you can get involved and help shape the future of CMV Action.
This year’s Awareness Month theme is Stronger Together, a reminder that our power lies in community, connection, and collective action. Whether you’ve been affected by congenital CMV or simply care deeply about supporting others, your time and voice can make a real difference to our small but mighty charity.

Date & Time: Monday 30th June 2025
Time: 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Location: Online (Zoom – link will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event)
What to Expect
This session will give you a warm, informative introduction to the work we do and the many ways you can become part of it. Whether you’ve got 30 minutes a week or more time to spare, there’s a volunteer role that could suit you.
You’ll hear from members of the CMV Action team and fellow volunteers about:
Why volunteering matters
Personal stories of involvement and impact
New and existing volunteer opportunities, including:
Administrator support
Helping with our CMV Connect peer support initiative
Becoming a moderator in our brand-new CMV Action WhatsApp Group
