Make Your Voice Heard!
What is it?
Are you a parent, carer, or family member of a child affected by congenital CMV (cCMV)? Would you like to help shape a project that connects and supports families like yours?
You may be aware that the CMV Connect Project was set up in response to the CMV Action Family Survey undertaken in 2024. We want to keep families at the centre of what we are doing so we’re setting up a short-term Project Advisory Group to
guide our CMV Connect project, which runs until May. This is a unique chance to share your experiences, ideas, and insights so that families receive the support they truly need.
Why join?
- Your voice matters – help shape support and activities designed for families.
- Connect with others who understand the journey of cCMV.
- Make an impact quickly – the group will meet just 4-5 times between now and May.
- Be recognised – your contribution will be valued, and your insights will help families now and in the future.
What’s involved?
- Attend 4-5 online meetings (60–90 mins each) between October and May.
- Share your perspective as a parent/caregiver.
- Offer feedback on resources and outreach ideas.
- Help us spread the word to other families.
- Respecting and valuing every voice that contributes
We know family life is busy, so we’ll make participation flexible, accessible, and respectful of your time.
