What is it?
The ‘Move It’ Fundraiser is to support and raise awareness for CMV Action; anyone can join in regardless of your ability. We would like you to walk, wiggle, wheel, run, bike, scoot or swim – it doesn’t matter how you do it, you just have to get sponsored to ‘Move It’ for CMV Action. We would love everyone to get involved in this national awareness and fundraising event for CMV Action.
Wherever you are and whatever your abilities, we can all make a difference; we can all move it for CMV Action!
When is it?
Our fundraising challenge day is May 8th. You can join in by firstly, choosing how you want to move and secondly, where your activity will be (you can choose the distance). If you are taking part we would like to see all your photos or videos of your activity shared on social media. Please tag us & use the hashtag #StopCMV to raise awareness.
100% of the proceeds that you raise from this event will be invested in supporting CMV Action to help families affected by cCMV and to raise awareness of CMV.
How do we get involved?
All you need to do to sign up to the Move It Fundraiser is firstly, register your event . When you complete the form let us know if you will be running/walking/wiggling/wheeling or whatever you choose. The next step is to get sponsorship from friends and family to complete the task. You will need to set up a fundraising page either via our Peoples Fundraising page or other fundraising platforms such as Just Giving . Email us with details of your fundraising page; we will promote it for you on our website and on our social media.

- Fundraise from family & friends
- On May 8th ‘Move It’ for CMV
