This virus has had a big impact on his family with his older sister Penny being affected by the virus. Penny is profoundly deaf, partially sighted and is functioning at just under a year old. She is now 36 and has lived in supported accommodation nearly her whole life, but is just a 30-minute drive away from home. She loves being in her wheelchair and being out and about – car trips, and walks, and she loves her trips to the pool which helps her with her movement. Similar to Pen, Freddie also like being out and about and has always wanted to run a marathon. He says that “running it to support this amazing charity and others who suffer from this virus will give me even more motivation.” Please support Freddie if you can
Freddie will be a fundraiser for us by running the Richmond marathon in September to raise money to benefit CMV ACTION and would love your support.
