CMV Action invites you to join us for an online Volunteer Recruitment Information Session. Join us in January to find out more about volunteering with us and learn about the ways you can help support families affected by congenital CMV.
You don’t need to have volunteered before, and there’s no pressure to sign up on the day, this session is simply a chance to find out more, ask questions, and see if volunteering with CMV Action might be right for you.

⏰ Session times 10:00am –10.30am and 7:30pm to 8:00pm

What the session will cover
A short introduction to CMV Action and our work
How volunteers make a difference to families
An overview of current volunteering opportunities, including:
Moderating CMV Action WhatsApp support groups
Helping with email enquiries and the support line
Future peer support volunteering opportunities
Supporting awareness and campaigns through social media
What support, training and guidance volunteers receive
Time for questions and discussion
Who is the session for
Parents, family members or carers with lived experience of CMV
Other supporters who want to give time or skills in a flexible way
People interested in community, support, or communications roles
Anyone curious about volunteering but wanting to learn more first
All volunteering roles are remote and flexible, and designed to fit around family life, work, or other commitments.

You don’t need to commit to volunteering by attending
