Volunteer of the Year Award at Manchester University

Natalie Battle was nominated for the Volunteer of the Year Award at Manchester  University for all the work she does for CMV Action.  

Natalie is a Teacher of the Deaf and Mum to a CMV child so she has lots of experience.  Natalie has given talks to Teachers of the Deaf and students and is currently working with the charity on an online presentation that can be accessed by Teachers of the Deaf, trainee TODs, mainstream teachers, Hearing Impaired Services, Audiologists etc.  Given that CMV is the cause of at least 25% of the children with a hearing loss, it is vital that these professionals are fully aware of CMV and its consequences.

Well done Natalie for receiving a commended certificate for all your hard work.
