National 3 Peaks Challenge

     
On Saturday 25th June at 6am a minibus carrying 6 supporters of CMV Action set off from Hartlepool to the highlands of Scotland in order to get to the foot of Ben Nevis. Over the course of the weekend the friends and family of children affected by CMV completed the National 3 peaks challenge to raise funds for CMV Action. Mark Lomas, Simon Tomlinson, Richard Irwin, Toby Oakley, Sarah Cardy and Andrew Banks braved the fog of Ben Nevis, the cold, wet Scarfell Pike and the scorching heat (yes really!) of Snowdon to manage the climb in under 24 hours. Between the 6 climbers an amazing £3900 was raised for the charity. A huge thanks to all the climbers and to Mark Woods for organising the bus! Richard, Mark, Simon, Sarah, Toby and Andrew at the peak of Ben Nevis.
