Nicky Hull

Nicky is giving herself this challenge in order to do all she can to help raise awareness & to support CMV Action. She is doing the ‘channel swim’ over the month of June, in a pool! She says she's not the best swimmer, so for her, 21 miles will be a huge challenge! She also aims to walk more than 100 miles on top of this, it’ll be a great achievement. She wants to walk a marathon a week! Wow, we are so impressed.

She hadn’t even heard of CMV until her best friend’s son, Alfie, was diagnosed with congenital CMV shortly after being born. With babies due within weeks of each other, they gave birth at the same time, in the same hospital, in rooms next door to each other. It is so lovely to see these friends support each other, especially during our CMV Awareness month.
