Jacqueline Parsons runs Lichfield Half Marathon for CMV Action

I decided to do the Lichfield half marathon on the 1st of May. I wanted to do it for charity and couldn't think of a better one than CMV Action. My nephew Elliot (5)  has CMV, he was born at 29 weeks and has amazed doctors with his strength thought out his little life. We wouldn't change Elliot for the world.
I did the Lichfield half marathon in 2 hours 22 min.  An emotional finish as Elliot was on the finish line waiting for me along with my babies. So glad I did the race and more so that I did it for cmv awareness.  At least 3 people asked me as I was running what CMV was. I'm so glad the t shirt brought some awareness.

Thank you so much Jackie from everyone at CMV Action. Jackie has raised over £1000 and that will be put to very good use!
