Alfie Battle and family - walking the Humber Bridge

The whole family have successfully walked the Humber Bridge and have raised over £500.  Well done Alfie.

Alfie, aged 10, came up with the idea of all the family running/walking over the Humber Bridge to raise money for CMV Action, during CMV Awareness month, on the 21st June. 

Alfie's younger brother, Thomas, is profoundly deaf because of CMV. 

CMV Action has provided support and information about this devastating virus, which our family had never even heard of, until Thomas' hearing loss and subsequent CMV diagnosis.

The whole Battle family - Alfie, Thomas, Emily, Harry, Dave and Natalie - will run or walk across the Humber Bridge to raise money for the charity and raise awareness of CMV.
