15 hour static cycle raising awareness and funds for CMV Action.
'I’m going as a caricature which will be a surprise as I went on my last 14 hr event as Spiderman aka Ian Parsons. Again, the event is to raise awareness of the danger of CMV and pregnant women. Please go to CMV action https://cmvaction.org.uk/ to look at the devastating effects of this disease.
I have a just giving page which you will see me in a glider, I’m training to be a pilot. So if we can raise over £500 I will be giving away a free ticket to fly in a glider which is a experience of a life time.
My last event I did at the Bulls Head Dorking on the 14th of August of 2019, where we raised £302.
Doing this event for my very special daughter Charlotte who is infected with CMV. We never had a diagnose for her until she was very ill, vomiting and diarrhoea that made her lose a lot of weight very quickly since she was a small baby.
Also this time dressing up in a dinosaur outfit for the event as my partners son is a huge fan.
Please give generously to our event and many thanks for the host The Queens Head Dorking. '
