Midwife training launched

CMV Action is delighted to announce the launch of an e-learning module for midwives on the Royal College of Midwives’ i-learn platform and the CMV Action website.

The module is designed to educate midwives about CMV, the problems it can cause and how it is spread. By the end of the module we hope people will feel confident in their knowledge of how they can limit the impact of CMV infection through giving advice on risk reduction, knowing what to do if infection in pregnancy is suspected, and understanding what the next steps are when a newborn baby is diagnosed with CMV.
