CMV Action focuses on educating Health Professionals about the risks of CMV

CMV Action delivered a study session to the lovely third-year Midwifery students at the University of York as part of their “Service Improvement” module.  Areas covered included spotting symptoms of the virus, risk management and the important role a Midwife can play in educating women as well as work of CMV Action, our current projects and initiatives and our range of resources.

The students asked loads of relevant questions and were very receptive so it was a great session!

The presentation to York students was the latest in a number of sessions delivered to Midwifery University students around the UK.  We have recently been invited to give presentations at the lovely students at the University of Cumbria and the University of West London with more planned, including Teeside and Plymouth next month .  We will bring you more details of these as they take place.
