Leah Bates and Josie Henshall - 80,000 steps a week for the month of July

Monday, July 31, 2017 - 22:00

This is me and my sister and my niece on a walk today. We have both raised £600 so far and we are only half way through the month.

Please support sisters, Leah and Josie. Josie's little girl, Eloise, was born with the virus.  Josie says

'We have been wanting to increase the awareness of CMV since finding out 3 years ago that I had contracted cCMV whilst pregnant with my little girl Eloise who is now 7. As a result of me contracting congenital cytomegalovirus, Eloise has single sided deafness amongst other problems.

Our little girl is doing amazing and I want to do everything I can to help spread the awareness of CMV and by doing 80,000 steps a week to raise money to help CMV Action to keep doing the amazing work you guys are doing'

Leah says 'I want to do this for my lovely niece'

Thank you for supporting CMV Action.   Happy walking!
