Dr. Anne Mullins

Anne-Mullins-Fundraiser
Monday, September 21, 2015 - 22:00

Anne Mullins continues to be a great supporter of CMV Action.

Last year she did ‘Screen For Life’, a private cinema screening at the gorgeous Olympic Cinema in Barnes.

This year Anne came up with another novel way to raise money for our charity.

Screen your Story' was a story writing competition for children in and around Barnes. There were 600 entries from children of all ages and each story included an encounter with a disabled character. The stories were judged by a panel of celebrity judges and the winning seven stories were made in to a film. A book, ‘Stories from the Young’ by Unicorn Press, has been published with the stories and fantastic illustrations.

Now there is to be an exhibition of the original illustrations from the book. The exhibition will run for three weeks from September 21st, at the OSO Arts Centre on Barnes Green, London.

All illustrations are for sale with the proceeds going to CMV Action.

Many thanks to Anne Mullins for organising these events and working so hard to raise much needed funds and awareness for our charity.
