'Deaf for a Day'

Sunday, March 8, 2015 - 09:00 to 21:00
Lucy Sammons and 2 friends (including one of our members, Julie Stansfield) are raising money for NDCS and CMV action by 'going' deaf for a day on the 8th March, in an attempt to experience deafness for themselves. They will be spending the day shopping, catching buses etc. to experience the difficulties often faced by the deaf.

Julie chose the idea as 4 year old twin boys are profoundly deaf as a result of CMV,  and she said she wanted to understand what they will experience as they grow older.
